Well I took last week off to re-coup after finishing a brief from hell and a mock trial from hell. I needed it folks!
Here is what I found noteworthy in terms of women and law within the last week:
- Police used taser on a 10-yr old girl—yes, this kind of thing still happens. Yes, people are still making excuses for it. Unfortunate indeed.
- “Inappropriate Venue”–don’t mess with this female attorney–I look forward to reading more of her pieces. 🙂
- Women/Law/Scholarships— what I’m seeking out to do over the break. Why is it that most scholarship applications are due in January? Let me know if you find any others–this was just a quick Google find.
- Congrats to Sara Granda for passing the California Bar Exam! I was so happy when I read this! She came, she fought, she won and now she can practice. 🙂
Happy Wednesday!
